Il museo offre un percorso antologico dell'opera di Zauli, uno dei maggiori scultori ceramisti del Novecento, dai primi anni '50 agli anni '90.

L'artista Carlo Zauli è noto a livello internazionale sin dalla fine degli anni '50 ed è presente in trentasei musei di tutto il mondo. Il museo è stato ricavato nel laboratorio dove l'artista produceva le sue opere e che, nella seconda metà del '900, è stato un centro di richiamo per altri grandi artisti.

Il museo svela al visitatore la ricerca di un artista che da ceramista divenne scultore senza mai tradire le proprie radici. Il percorso è arricchito da una visita agli ambienti dello studio-bottega: dalla cantina delle argille alla stanza degli smalti, dalla sala dei forni a quella dei grandi rilievi, dove la zolla di terra diventava scultura.

The museum offers an anthological journey through the work of Zauli, one of the greatest ceramic sculptors of the 20th century, spanning from the early 1950s to the 1990s.

Artist Carlo Zauli gained international recognition as early as the late 1950s, and his works are now held in thirty-six museums worldwide. The museum is housed in the very workshop where the artist created his pieces, which, during the second half of the 20th century, became a gathering place for other major artists.

The museum reveals the artistic evolution of a man who transitioned from ceramist to sculptor while remaining deeply rooted in his origins. The exhibition is enriched by a visit to the studio-workshop spaces: from the clay cellar to the glaze room, from the kiln chamber to the hall of large reliefs, where lumps of earth were transformed into sculpture.
